Antique AQUA LUNG SCUBA REGULATOR-Early Pico Address-24 Photos-COUSTEAU-GAGNAN

Description

This auction is for an antique U.S. Divers two hose AQUA-LUNG SCUBA "D.A. Aqua-Master" Regulator in nice condition.   Marked with the "Cousteau-Gagnan Process" enamelled label.  Though it dates from the early days of SCUBA it appears in very good condition, showing just light signs of typical use.    It was said to have been working when it was put away, and it looks remarkably good.   From the Estate of a discriminating world traveller and diver  who had purchased spare hoses and mouthpieces intending to return it to use.    There are numerous photos showing it's details and condition.
A wonderful early  'Sea Hunt' era two hose regulator.
Has the early dark blue enamelled label which reads- "AQUA-LUNG" 'DA - "Aqua Master" 2 Stage Regulator...Costeau-Gagnan Process...US Patent No. 2,485,039...Other Patents Pending...US Divers Co....11201 W. Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles 64, California- USE COMPRESSED AIR ONLY".
Label is very readable.   Retains almost all of the main finish, with no dents or abuse.   The gold "Crown" is still present above the label, and can be seen in the photos.    I believe that this regulator is one of the earlier models that had the internal pressurising hose on one side.   Please be aware that I am not an expert in early dive equipment, so e-mail any specific questions well before the auction close.
Comes with the two hose section replacements, along with two replacement mouthpieces.  Hoses show signs of garage storage.   Some other bits are included, which can be seen in the photos.
