Antique AQUA-LUNG SCUBA "D.A. AQUA-MASTER" REGULATOR Cousteau-Gagnan-L@@K !!

Description

This auction is for an antique two hose U.S. Divers  AQUA-LUNG SCUBA "D.A. Aqua-Master" Regulator in nice condition.   Marked with the "Cousteau-Gagnan Process" enamelled label.  Though it dates from the early days of SCUBA it appears in very good condition, showing just signs of typical use.  From an estate, it was said to have been working when it was put away, and it looks remarkably good.    There are numerous photos showing it's details and condition.
From the early days of SCUBA.   Marked with incised number '26' - Probably a rack number or Navy Frogman marking.   'Sea Hunt' era, or earlier.
Has the early yellow enamelled label which reads- "AQUA-LUNG" 'DA - "Aqua Master" 2 Stage Regulator...Costeau-Gagnan Process...US Patent No. 2,485,039...Other Patents Pending...US Divers Co....11201 W. Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles 64, California- USE COMPRESSED AIR ONLY".
Label is very readable.   Main finish shows some signs of typical use, with no dents or abuse.   Please be aware that I am not an expert in early dive equipment, so e-mail any specific questions well before the auction close.
