    First time out of box for this stunning 4-8-2 USRS light mountain loco.  The factory paint on this highly detailed steamer is superb and the detail is awsome.
    Short track test reveals smooth operation through the full throttle range in both directions and operating directional loco headlight.  Traction is enhanced by two traction tires on 3rd set of drivers.  Loco also features 8 wheel drive and all wheel pick-up.
    As per Instruction sheet, "Like any fine piece of machinery, your precision engineered BACHMANN Trains will work best after a few hours of actual running time.  Do not run a full speed. Frequent starts and stops and running at various speeds will assure you many years of trouble-free running."
