The Leatherman Pulse
tool is an attractive member of the "second generation" of Leatherman tools. Like the larger Super Tool 200
, it has curved thumb grips to release the blade lock. The Pulse was introduced in 2002, and soon replaced the PST II
. It only lasted until 2005, when it was replaced by the much more drab Kick/Fuse/Blast family. The Pulse is a popular collectible model, and also an extremely useful tool. Engraved 1000 (October 2000) as manufactured on date on inside of tool.
