RARE 1930'S - 1940'S PACKARD AUTOMOBILE CAR RADIO CABLE PARTS BOX - ORIGINAL!!!

Up for auction is this great and very rare antique Packard Automobile box (box only) for "Genuine
Packard"
Radio Cables.  From the style of the box (and Packard logo on the box) we would estimate that the piece is from the late 1930's to the 1940's.  The box, intended for use by Packard auto dealers, contained one spool of Packard 922 (what we believe was the part # but on the box it is referred to as the "TRADE" number) Radio Cable (100 feet).  It is fully marked on the top and one side (see pictures).  One side also has an advertisement for the dealers, with pictures, to buy a Packard store display Ignition Cable Sets floor display rack.  The box is a yellowish color with brown trim.  Edges are reinforced with metal straps.  The box is two pieces with the lid and bottom portion.  It is square and measures about 3 1/2 inches wide.  There is some edge/corner wear and water staining but it is complete with clean, clear graphics (see pictures for accurate condition).  Stamp part numbers and vehicle part information shows some age fading.  The box is still very viable!!  All in all, a great and extremely rare piece offered with NO RESERVE!!
