Unless it is brand new never been opened toy. It would be a safe bet that it's been played with and is not a perfect brand new item. We do our best to describe what we see, but you may be looking for something else. Again ZOOM IN THE PHOTOS.
Rare MPC/Multiple Toy Company Missle Attack Force Playset 4500 w/ "Ring Hand Figures" & Original Box.
I've been trying to get as much info as possible for this listing. And it's not easy, there is not much out there. So let's get into it..
To start the box is sturdy and together, visually unfortunately has some water damage marks. Its what's on the inside that counts though right? So model No. 4500 is a 50 piece set with a jeep, a transport truck, and two launching tanks that the different rocket launchers slide onto. There is multiple colored figures that are all "ring hand" figures. And because of that I'm thinking that dates this set to early to mid 1950s. Lido was sold in 1964 and by then Marx and MPC had already switched their Figures to weapons molded onto the figures rather that ring hands that could hold a weapon. I'm also throwing in an extra bag of plastic soldiers that are not ring hand figures they are just extras. There is a couple of figures with broken arms. Battlefield wounded soldiers. Their limbs will come with them so you can resin them together if you want. 1 of the tall red launchers is slightly bent (as shown in photo) it's not broken byt I think if I try to move it back it will break being as it's old plastic. This set boasts firing rockets there is 8 firing rocket launchers but 1 is missing its spring. More than likely en easy fix. It also has a helicoper that it says can be launched and will really fly. The launcher seems good and the helicopter is good as well.
There is not many of these left in the world so to be fair we are doing a 10 day auction. Also I was able to find the instructions online and I printed them out to go with it. THESE ARE NOT THE ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS they are copies from the internet of the original instructions.
