RARE Plastic Firemen Vintage 50s 60s XL Playset Figures Maybe Marx MIB

Description

At almost 5 inches tall, these are among the very larges vintage plastic figures made. They are not branded. A couple of advanced fire toy collectors believe these were created at Marx. They are certainly created in the same style as other Marx firemen, but are MUCH larger. For me, another indication of their heritage is that Marx used the number 9 on many of their large scale metal fire apparatus, and these guys have the number 9 on their helmet frontspieces. Made prior to 1963, as the company address has no zip code.  These poses are super-desirable!
