Stowaway Erector Set Parts: Vintage Ajax Brand Toy Motor

Description

Found in a vintage Gilbert Erector set but not a Gilbert item. Small DC electric toy motor mounted on a wooden stand. . Research indicates that it was made by the Ajax Toy Company of Hickory, NC and may have been part of  a small table fan. (?). It may be missing parts..
It has not been tested so I am selling it for display or parts.
The motor itself is 3" high
The wooden base is 3 1/4" in diameter
Weight is 10 1/2 oz.
