Description
WHAT A GREAT FIND!This is the MARX SUPERMAN TIN LITHO ROLLOVER TANK! This toy was produced in the 1940's (unlike the "yellow costumed" one that was produced later on in the 1950's) and is ALL ORIGINAL!
This is the mostly silver-luster version of the toy with a blue top (as the toy was also produced in gold and green varieties). The wind-up tin-litho toy still functions (although the "lifting" portion of the toy is weak and does not work half the time), and depicts Superman showing his strength by lifting the moving tank. The tank has many scuffs and scrapes but still displays very well. The tank measures 4" long and 2.5" tall.
