I am the original owner of this set which was given to me in the late 1950’s. It was played with for several years and was well maintained when in use. It was put into storage in the early 1960’s and has remained there until just recently. It has been stored all that time in a climate controlled environment and the set is in excellent condition.

The metal case is in good order; the lid opens and closes properly, it is not bent or dented, the handle and right clasp are attached and working, the left clasp is broken off but the clasp is present, see photos.
·
The paint colors are nice and strong. They show the normal wear from use and age that you would expect to see. There are a few small paint chips and some patina on the lid, see photos, but overall the case looks great.

I have NOT inventoried the set but I believe it to be substantially complete. I have tried to provide as many photos of the contents as possible so you can best determine what you are getting.

The original cardboard inserts are missing. The bottom insert has been replaced by homemade wooden insert which works very well.
·
None of the parts are bent or twisted.
·
The Electro Magnet has been tested and works as it should.
·
The Electric Motor has been tested and runs great; its original power cord is in good condition.
·
The set catalog booklet is included. It looks good and is complete; it does have a piece of tape along the spine and one page toward the end is torn in half.

Overall, this is a very nice example the “Ferris Wheel” erector set and would make an excellent addition to any collection.
