Vintage Clarion Model 5500R AM/FM Stereo Cassette Player In Dash Working! Nice!  Clarion 5500R measures 5/1/2" deep from the face plate, 7" wide x 2" thick.  Center to center between knobs is 6"  Everything was tested on this In Dash and everything works.  Very nice cosmetic shape as well.  All the wires are there for a 2 or 4 speaker system.  Has antenna hookup and back strap for hanging.  Dial is crystal clear, photos make it look murky.   Prior owner had this in a 1978 Ford Fairmont Wagon.  I think the tuning knobs are not original to this stereo.  Probably are off of the Ford.  Very nice Clarion AM/FM Cassette player that was purchased 12/10/82.  These were very good systems and were known for their reliability.  Great for installing in that Classic Ride.  Great Looking Stereo.  Comes with original Owners and Installation guide.  No warranty implied.  Thank you for looking.
