    Description

Hi, I am Steve Pfeiffer, author of the book
Collecting Case knives - Identification and Price Guide
. I have been collecting, buying, and selling CASE and other brands of vintage and modern pocket knives since 1973.
I am offering some fine collectible pocket knives for sale. See my other auction listings for more collectible knives.
This is a vintage multi-tool that predated the Leatherman and similar tools. I estimate this to be 1950’s to 1960’s vintage.
The tang stamp on the spear blade is MADE IN JAPAN.
This is a high quality piece, similar to the Solingen made multi tools of that era.
Overall length is 4-7/8” (plus bail).
All blades/tools have strong snap, no wobble.
The pliers are spring-loaded (there is a catch on the end to hold them closed).
Looks to be carried and used a bit but never sharpened – some light handling rub marks and a few tarnish spots and specks.
The forged pliers head has a bit of light surface rust.
Includes the leather snap pouch shown – pouch is all intact with minor wear.

The knife shown in the photos is the exact knife that you will receive.
All knives will be shipped promptly to you in a sturdy corrugated box.
Sales to USA Locations Only - Buyer must be at least 18 years of age.
Some states have started requiring eBay to collect sales tax on items going to these states. eBay has a list of those states that have started collecting sales tax in 2019 on online purchases. This is nothing I have control over and the sales tax is automatically added to your total by eBay if you reside in one of these states.
See my other listings for more collectible knives.
Any knives listed as having BONE handles have handles made of Bovine bone from the South American Zebu cattle.
Any knives listed as having STAG handles have handles made of Sambar deer antler - naturally shed.
