    Description

This is a A Wyandotte Hoky Poky pressed tin railroad clown car clockwork toy. A great collectible from the 1950s . This fun toy features two identical clowns that pump a railroad car. The toy has clockwork functionality and travels a number of feet on a smooth, flat surface when wound. This toy is in Fantastic Condition with great color and paint. The toy works very well. It is extremely rare to find a metal wind-up toy of this quality and condition anywhere. It seems that it was hardly ever played with. There is a fine rust coating to the key and the pins that emerge since they are unpainted. The air humidity has lightly rusted them over time.. the new owner might want to wipe a fine oil on those unpainted parts.
All Metal Products Company was an American toy company founded in 1920 and based in Wyandotte, Michigan for most of its history. They produced inexpensive pressed metal toys under the Wyandotte brand name. If you are a collector of wind up toys, This example will not disappoint you. THIS TOY WAS MADE IN THE USA. Shipped with USPS Priority mail.
