Vintage SCUBA Z90 Backpack tank AtPac at pac diving dive BC

Z90 SCUBA diving equipment Backpack. This unit should not be considered modern life support for diving, although I see no reason it is unsafe in any way. It is best thought of and is recommended as as a vintage collector's item. This is a jacket-style backpack; it connects the SCUBA tank to the diver. It does not contain a buoyancy component, so it is not a Buoyancy Compensator and should not be used to replace a BC in any way. Originally, a "horseshoe" shaped buoyancy cell was installed between the backpack and the tank. SAS, Seatec, Watergill, and later DiveRite made suitable buoyancy cells to use with this backpack. This backpack was one of the most comfortable made back in the day, the system it was a part of was a forerunner to the modern BCs that don't hurt you when you wear them. Works as intended, has evidence of prior use underwater. Recommended as collector's item
